The job I work at wants to raise productivity. So they are cracking down on us workers. They want us to pick orders faster with less mistakes. Work 60 hours a week and never call in or be late. They also made a new rule of no smoking on company property so the only time we can smoke is on lunch break if we leave.(By the way ALOT OF FORKLIFT DRIVERS SMOKE) All of this would be fine but the job only pays 10 dollars an hour. By summer min wage will be 7.50 an hour. So I guess my question is how hard should we work for 10 dollars an hour? I can take a small pay cut and get a much safer job at mcdonalds where i wont have to break my back stacking pallets off a fork lift all day. which is the better option?
